We were amazed by the depth and breadth of the research that had been done on how pitch and harmony are perceived. In desperation, we decided to dig into the science of how ear training skills develop. Trying to learn songs by trial and error did not very well. They did not work for our friends either. Traditional ear training methods did not work for us even after years of dedicated effort. So much so that at a certain point in our life it felt impossible for us to reach the level of musical proficiency that we desperately needed to make our dreams come true. We struggled mightily to develop ear training skills. Our background includes working as professional musicians and music producers.īut things were not that great for us a few years back.
